Back to Casera Razzo

Ieri siamo ritornati a Casera Razzo. THE SQM started from 21:21 (first reading at eight in the evening) and ended at 21:27 (almost three in the morning).
In this period when we were in Val Visdende readings have recorded at least two tenths better. From 21.2 to 21.5 there is much difference: the Milky Way was not as sculpted as well as galaxies and nebulae eyepiece were less clear.
We were a group that has found its way into the shelter Smith (the reason for choosing Casera Razzo knowing that the sky was the least seasonal). There was Lorenzo Burti with his Obsession-like 50 cm, 60 cm with I, Marco Cardin, Andrew Francescon (30 cm), Pierpaolo Campostrini (CPC 8 "), Davide Visentin (45 cm). 50 of Lorenzo, who had seemed so great two years ago, this time I seemed small ...
For the curious, we compared different objects in different telescopes. In general the difference is also only a 10 cm aperture.
The temperature was about -8 ° C and the humidity was very low. Seeing maybe it was not bad, but the temperature difference was decisive. The stars were perfect on the latest on the 160x and 100x. In addition they were no longer point (in some cases I have gone to 265x).

The objects observed were many, as I have said often in several telescopes simultaneously. For example, an item I wanted to see was the Jones-Emberson 1 (PK 164 +31.1). Initially appeared to be elusive Dabvide in 45 of 50 in both of Lawrence. Then we found the right combination of filters and zoom in pretty well and was visible as a disk / ring. In 60 cm with UHC filter at 100x-S has finally shown as a ring (though weak) with two 'breaks. This is what is perceived (see photo for comparison). Ossrvata also Lumicon UHC filter at 160x with perhaps some mostrav thing more.

I tried in vain without recognizing other ghostly planetary really: Puwei 1, Abell 30, Abell 31 and perhaps some other.
We also spent some 'time to see the cone but to no avail.

not I make a list of all the classic nebuolse we observed. I mention only the Rosetta OIII filter with the first 50x 30 cm Andrea (we saw a good slice) and later to 100x (can always 6 mm) in 60 cm. You could obviously shares whose consistency, however, was similar to the previous vision.

Observed Thor's helmet, the more washed out than usual and the N GC 2261. In 60 cm appeared similar to this photo (color included). Look

different galaxies close to 891. In particular, NGC 898 that we could see sustained magnification (265x) as a small galaxy cutting next to the large galqassia cutting is 891. The 898 seemed like the 891 that I had always seen from the rocket Casera 80ED Mirko.

Where have residence permits. December 29, 2010 2002

MILAN-EVENT-

concentration P.za San Babila

Where did the permits?

... At 15 months after the "amnesty scam" for domestic workers and caregivers more than 100 000 requests are unanswered or rejected. The state has grossed 300 million € with our questions, el'INPS more than 600 million in contributions.
Bands profiteers we have extracted all our savings with the promise of the Assumption and a permit. We paid for finally being able to live and work in the sunlight, fraternally with the Italian workers, not to be regarded as criminals o animali cui dare la caccia. Siamo stati truffati.
Where has the "table"? Where have our residence permits?
continue and extend our struggle until we have justice!
Say no to new flows decree announced by the government in February, which will feed into a new lottery and new scams against immigrants!
We invite all workers, and Italian immigrants, and students to coordinate the struggle for our rights and our dignity.
Unity is strength, the rights of our struggle. Residence permit for all!

How Long Does It Take For Eyes To Heal Keratitis?

A glass half full or half empty?

Siamo stati in Val Visdende.
Quando era bello lo SQM segnava 21.40 (Before midnight) and 21.50 (3 am). Visibviule in M33 was averted when it was high in the sky before midnight, while it was easier at 3 at night, even though it was lower. In the South Fork
we have seen the full range of light pollution. Before midnight veils and high luminescent (premsumo illuminated by the Friuli plain between 60 and 120 km S; there is hardly anything more closely). With the fog became too dark fork (probably because there was fog in the lowlands). A little 'was not sufficiently transparent, a bit' has been very transparent and you could see faint stars of constellations southern horizon. The temperature dropped
around zero or a couple of degrees (a situation I would call "hot").
The seeing was bad. It 's easy that it is because the valley is like a bowl surrounded by mountains and it is virtually impossible not to be sottovento.Giove was observable on the 260-280X but was confused. The fuzzy red spot and, above all, it was enough to extract a little 'fire to recognize the classic "waterfall", a sign of turbulent layers at high altitude (which I think were not very high).

Turning to the comments, the program was a bit 'limited disruption of fog.

We started with a comparison to NGC6946 between 60 cm and 40 cm of Thomas. (PS we were in fourth with three instruments: Me and Mark , 60 cm, with 40 and Thomas with Fabio 40. Dobson all three of Zen). While in approximately 40 to 200x, thanks a sky still imperfect, was "fantasy" in 60 to 265x was brighter. The spirals were more easily visible and the outer spiral towards S could also see some reinforcements. But we've also seen better on other occasions. I tried unsuccessfully
Humason 1-1 in Cassiopeia. This is a stellar and planetary aspect almost escaped me. I then folded up
Abell 2, still in Cassiopeia, which appeared as a faint disk, both semnza filters with both filters (in my opinion the best view was with the UHC).
We moved to more substantial items, such as NGC 40 and NGC 7354, two planetary in Cepheus. NGC 40 showed the central star, the outer shell elliptical, and a kind of dark ring between the center (surrounded by what appeared to be a bit 'of nebulosity) and the shell. A little 'as in the photo link.
NGC 7354 is more compact and instead appeared as a bit 'uneven. A little 'as in this photos but more faint (and no color!).
During one of the bursts is not fully transparent, I repeated the tests with colored filters on the M42. I used the filter W23A, Halfa, which isolates the emission of the nebula (the half-pass at 98%, while the other emission lines, OIII, etc. Hbelta not pass, see this article). Was visible an area a bit 'smaller than marked in orange. In practice, the central part of the nebula is intense enough to be visible in Halfa (in Halfa) - and was saturated red, but still very weak. Obviously the green is hugely more intense for the eye (not absolute Halfa is more intense because the OIE). Red, the weaker parties (those in which some observers say they still believe that colors are real), not even the shadow. Experience with a red filter is one thing to try: the rods are insensitive to red and what is seen is seen only with the cones. You must use the direct vision and how you live in a dark space where some objects become visibili quando capita di fissarli direttamente.

Era in Monoceros.

Se con il 40 è sempre stata elusiva, apparendo al massimo come una indentazione on the edge of a faint band of light, with 60 (I always filter Hbeta) the nebula was well defined and the head looked like a hook-shaped bay. Just this evening, perhaps to save the unfortunate half.

to close (it was nearly 4 am) look at NGC 2438, M46 superimposed on the planet. By comparison of some planetary ghosts, was clearly visible, large, bright, ring-shaped with the central star (which is not the central) and another star at the edge visible. Maybe a little 'worse than I've seen the Giau in February. Yesterday I

Extreme Aggitation And Renal Faillure

Peralba, September 11, 2010

, Fabio, David Marcoe Alessio Peralba we were at. There was some apprehension when the true 8, when Santo Stefano, the sky was heavily overcast. But when we arrived at high altitude at the foot of the mountain and the source of the Piave, the sky was already clean.
The night before there had been three other friends, finding a sky of 21.6-21.7. We were not so lucky. The sky was between 21.5 and 21.55. As you clean the horizon due south, leaving a glimmer of light pollution was not plain that much more intense dell'airglow Northwest. However, we did not observe a grand and progression of SQM (from 21.5 to 21:55). Most likely it depends on how light, with different weather conditions in the south, coming from the flat (and how much light arrives). It must be said that these values include the Milky Way (since in practice the zenith, there was no way to exclude it with the normal SQM).
M33 was visible, not directly, but it was not too difficult. Knowing what to look for, you could even find the zodiacal band, and later came the zodiacal light.
temperature around 3 degrees (according to the SQM) 7 ° C according to the thermometer outside of my car. Alessio had a camper with which Providence has given us a half-night tea. So we went on until nearly 5.

The seeing ranged from bad to horrible, that added to the initial thermal problems (from 24 ° C of the house) did not allow good use of high magnification. With the pinpoint stars ETHOS 21 (160x with paracorr) but with the ETHOS 13 (265x), the point came and went (for example, undermining the view of the Cat's Eye).
Towards the end of the evening I also framed Jupiter. Wishing you could keep 10.5 (330X) and peering between the turbulence could also see many details. But it was not very funny.

Four telescopes: 60 cm, 45 cm, 40 cm and 30 cm and a small 80 mm refractor at the very large field.

I observed early in Cassiopeia. M52, Bubble Nebula (which looks like a kind of spiral arm), 7538 (diffuse nebula in another area). Then the open cluster 7510 with a clear triangular shape.
I liked the dwarf galaxy IC 10 , who appeared with a halo of light not well-defined, large, star-studded top.
7789 The cluster very rich in stars (also very bright in 60 cm) and Pacman (281). The
Saturn (7009) showed a sort of central body (the planet) apparently overexposed, and then the "rings". We wondered if someone, with the usual refractors magic ... would also see the dark cloud of cassini rings :-).
well solved the M92 I used to try paracorr: you put the globular to an edge and allowed to pass through the whole camp and enjoy the spectacle of stars that remain even point on the sideline ... and it is true!
M30 and Helix are followed in various sauces filters. M27 impressive object in the usual 60.Il handle very light and darker ears (if you want a little 'fantasy you could imagine the red - even though they are green). In the same 30 cm
seemed half the size and ears were less "dense".
Bello also globular nano dolphins in 7006, it was "almost" resolved into stars. I say almost because you could not shoot high magnification because the seeing. Even the cat's eye has suffered the seeing. Besides the beautiful galassietta 6503.
A quick comparison between 40 and 60 cm there was about 891. In general we can say that you can use magnification in proportion to the diameter (ie one and half times more) while maintaining the same evidence "of the object, seen as intensity superficiale.
M74 è stata observed in 45 and then in 60 cm. 45 In the halo of the galaxy was visible with some irregularities in 60 think you can say you saw (albeit with difficulty) spirals.
Finally (before closing with Jupiter) M1 in which I sought traces of the filaments that seemed to have seen the Giau, but I'm not sure having seen them.

notes David.

Here is a list of the objects observed with the 45-cm DOB:
I started with a pair of diffuse nebulae in Cepheus: Ced 214 and NGC 7822 both invisible to the 95x + UHC. Nearby is the large group of objects which belongs to M 52 of which have kept the 7538 (or planetary nebula?) As easy to 95x to 270x + UHC showed 2 or 3 overlapping stars, The Cave Nebula Sh2-155 has not been shown to 95x with neither UHC nor with the HB, but the Sh2-157 (about 1 ° S in the Bubble) I saw for the first aimed at 95x + UHC and had an arched shape; Nearby is the funny-shaped cluster NGC 7510 arrowhead. In Cassiopeia, to S Beta, there is a group of planetary composed of Abell 82 (ok to 95x and 150x + UHC + OIII with a few improvements) and Abell 84 (150x + OIII ok but weak) characterized by having right on the edge of a star. Also here's a quick look at the always spectacular (at 150x) open cluster NGC 7789. Two objects that are often forgotten two galaxies located between Cassiopeia and M 31: NGC 147 and NGC 185 95x visible to both the second much easier, in the same area a nice surprise was the galaxy NGC 278 (a big wad to 270x). I had some object in the constellation Aquila, including the pending planetary Abell 70 (which I have not seen but I did not have a precise map of the area), easy and beautiful NGC 6852 and Abell 55 that I had missed last year and this time I was able to detect a 150x + OIII. The beautiful galaxy NGC 253 (already visible in the finder) and at 150x + Deep-Sky filter showed enormous, a tapered shape, which bisects the field and some irregularities in the vicinity of the nucleus: I used the filter as it was positioned, low, the worst part of the sky and the DS has helped to darken a little 'the sky background, I have also seen them near the globular cluster NGC 288 which is shown fully resolved at 270x. Objects that have failed me, the infamous M 74 whose coils are difficult to capture good 45cm in fact you had to have much imagination to imagine and even 60cm, is sensed in averted but not seen so clearly: it may be that with the sky a little darker and with seeing better things will change. Among the memorabilia of the evening I wanted to point the best view ever of the 891 and the Helix with 60cm of Mauro, the resolution (finally) the edge of the globular 7006 (again with the 60cm) and the beautiful views of North America, IC 1318 and California in 30cm Alessio

Linosa

Linosa I'm like every year, the island is not, as too often happens that makes you weigh its difficult accessibility. For once I arrive with a Sea oil has run broke the hydrofoil, and so I have to stay in Lampedusa. Arrive Sunday and then 11. A full day of sea, dinner with friends found in the evening to assemble the paintings, that being ultra-portable takes his time:

conclusion, it is observed ... ends which are operating on 12: it is just past the moon 6 days remain new and useful for my observing program (focusing on the Scorpion and a bit 'of its surroundings) before the moon ci metta lo zampino.
http://www.stevesastro.net/deepsky/falsecomet.htm

The rectangle encloses the two items mentioned in the DSS image is enlarged and later:

The next item is the Cat's Paw nebula (Cat's Paw nebula)
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/01/100120093529.htm
in view of which is seen quite easily on the third finger, NGC 6334. The star-hop from the previous field is not difficult, given the proximity.

The next step, a butterfly planetary phantasmagoric image Hubble, the size of 1 'x 30 ":
http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/2009/25/image/b/
This is NGC 6302. Start the hop star Upsilon Sco, for 1 and ½ to a star or a triangle of 6 ^ (HR 6456) and 2 ^ 8 ½ (SAO208732 and SAO208758) identify the half-way. Eyepiece feel satisfied with an elongated shape and do not insist either magnification or with filters.
The same triangle of stars is valuable to identify the next object, another planet, NGC 6337, round, actually ring, diameter 30 ". This is also very beautiful in the photographs, a ring with more stars in a row inside a miniature of M 57:
http://www.capella-observatory.com/ImageHTMLs/PNs/NGC6337.htm
In view of the object requires high magnification to capture the ' annular (the picture below gives an idea): in this case I behave in a defeatist and I'm happy to record it as a 'view'.
I consider myself happy because in the field of about 1, which gives me the 20mm is seen as the next picture: a good challenge.
Increasing the magnification in the brightness is lost and things do not improve.

Finally, IC 4637, a small round planet with a diameter of 20 "I see with some doubt distracted, a simple bow ...

The attentive reader will already have been documented for a while 'I noticed that after walking the suggestions of readers deep- Latest Sky magazine a note regarding the choice of objects. Well, I did not have much time to document and then I went on the safe side, based on the choices of the magazine columnist.
Continuing along the same lines within the Wolf for NGC 6026, a lovely planet with a diameter of 40 "next to the star SAO207243. I did not take notes of observation, unfortunately, only 'view', satisfied because in the article was described as challenging in an 8 "... The star-hop is easily the double Xi Wolves.
Since it is near, I am tracing the globular cluster NGC 5986, an object very easy and nice, I had already observed in 2007.
http://www.trekportal.it/coelestis/showthread.php?t=14203&highlight=linosa
Returning Scorpion sting of the hook, but this time on the outside and escape in the Corona Australis, here a nice bright and compact globular, NGC 6541, whose photographs show a halo of stars more rare, and the nearby, much weaker and diffuse NGC 6496, somewhat more challenging, on the boundary Sco / CrA. Incidentally, the story that I also searched the 6256, that the hook inside the SCO, that triangle with Epsilon and Mu. None. It makes me DSS reason: it is a globular very weak and scattered.
Ophiuchus: a planetary to the vicinity of the star is called 12 ^ 'exclamation point', the DSS provides an interesting shape to S, which does not appear in amateur photos, in view is little more than stellar (diam . 15 ") but of adequate magnitude and surface brightness, NGC 6309.
Eppoi i Messier the district, in bulk. And when I'm tired, I lift my eyes to heaven just to bearmi the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. One evening a particularly clear for the right maestralino Pipa is clearly visible and more closely the rest of Horsham. On 21
morning I wake up at 4:20: Mark 21:55 and watch the SQM M74, M33, 31, 32, 110, M76, and then begins to dawn when I felt the 20:70 mark SQM day and think that these are the values that usually seen from behind Lessini Verona!
In the following days when the moon rises, I stop the comments, but it saddens me that much. The moon on the sea offers a fascinating and unforgettable images: the E backdrop for the romantic dinner on the veranda:

Shortly after sunset Venus shines at its best: at one point two stars that were unknown to me come close and come into conjunction: the program tells me to be none other than Saturn and Mars! We see that not consulting the IAU (but the sky).
And finally, a gem that I posted in 'high resolution':

ANTARES. A late night try the companion of Antares. Taking advantage of Linosa is 36 ° N. Lat then 10 ° south of my usual observing site, Verona. Years ago there were failed with the 10 " 300x. Known observation that is perfectly compared to the previous antares therefore conclude that PA is 270 ° and made it clear from the catalog of double stars of Washington. The secondary I know blue, green anything, but as is the tradition just for the color contrast with Antares, as rightly noted. It seems just a bit outside the ring diffraction 'disturbed by seeing an imperfect. I note with a 3-6 Nagler 3mm (400x) for me is certain and confirmed (I've seen exactly as in the picture, but only faintly blue). I'm glad the company of other observations to confirm. In any case, consider an enterprise to be entered between each of those memorable amateur, especially if not an expert doppista. Lorenzo

2010 July 16, 2010 Three Peaks Three Peaks

Yesterday, in a mountain was incredibly hot. In the evening there were several hats of clouds over the mountains and the last to go was just
the Three Peaks, just before dusk.
We used the square of the Bus that is least busy (we were practically alone
). Late at night the "nice" way (the parking lot above us) of a band of perhaps a hundred trips at night, each swinging his spotlight!

For most of the night has been a dense fog which reduced visibility, especially on the horizon (though always above the lip).
The sky was constantly at 21.65 and we have experienced during the night as, equal to SQM, quality of the air can change drastically.
early mist was thick and well reflected light from Cortina, and Auronzo Misurina. Towards the end of the night has improved.
M33 was still barely visible.
I have observed the 6946 and the 891 and the inkjet for a comparison with the lip of the week before. The jet was equal and the other two were higher, though he
these objects are far from having had on other occasions I have observed in the Alps
some exotic location and some classical. For example, the PK 122-34.1 planetary in Cassiopeia. It was a hard weak and vague at the edges.
At the end of the night a resounding Jupiter. The seeing was good and for a time was very good (but at that time
but I have not seen David and Fabio with 45 and 40 cm were observed).

We concluded that the site of the Three Peaks has great potential, but if the air is moist (ie the day if there are too many hats
clouds) should go elsewhere. The peaks themselves are in fact due to clouds and fog when the air is a bit 'unstable. Never mind: just use the webcam the haunting first.

foggy ...

After three months yesterday, we were unlucky with the Three Peaks. The weather forecast gave clear and so it would be if it were not been for a very high humidity. The mountains all had a hat of clouds. In a couple of occasions we were completely enveloped in fog. Dark was dark (21.6 to 21.7) but transparency has never been good.
The seeing was good. The temperature at 7 ° C. I were Mark, Andrea and Mirko. A two 30 cm and 60 cm for a total of 120 cm ;-).
Because of the thermal load from home (over 20 ° C) I could not make the most of seeing that the resolution would allow. But I can not complain: I still have pinpoint stars even at fairly high magnification (see below).

The good news is that the lighthouse Genzianella has been replaced with a much smaller place. It 's still oriented male ma ora almeno è molto molto meno luminoso.

The 5746 shows how a galaxy of cutting and the bulge (with difficulty) the dark band. Another group was the 5317/63/60/56/48/38/73. In general, all showed a bit 'of structure. We then made a
Carello of globular clusters. While the globular assume an identity in apertures from 30 cm to 60 cm just become different from each other. One can distinguish between alignments of stars that make them unique. For example, M4 has a few bright stars that make it look like a face. We also noticed a couple of stars that seemed to appear quite bright color (red). M14 instead has very faint stars and fine. M56 was very well resolved.

We also observed nebulae planetary. The Owl at a time not so favorable ethos seemed very large 21, but his eyes were soon thwarted. The blinking to show a 333x and then to 420x. In a 60 cm does not "blink" as the central star is visible surrounded by a much brighter. We observed late at night when the mirror was quite acclimated (but not yet perfect). For this to 420x the stars were still point, and I could even see the vibration of the fan (which can be seen from about 400x in the form of stars as dashes - of course I have a second smaller fan that vibrates less).

I also observed M57 at magnifications between 230x and 333x. The stars were visible up to 15.7 live (And far point). The 16.1 and 16.6 were visible. I think the limit is higher in more favorable nights. The central star is lost I see it as star (not as light reinforcement in the center ring of smoke). Mirko says it was obvious to me not quite so obvious. Mark agreed with me (but not visible light) while Andrea had any doubt that it was real.
IC1296 was also visible as a small faint glow.

Among the nebulae, the Crescent I said. should also be mentioned in the cocoon, which was huge in the 21 mm (142x). You could better capture in its entirety with the extreme Scopos to 85x Hbeta filter. We should also mention the nebulae of the Galactic Center: The Lagoon is closed Scopos with O3 in a cocoon. M16, M17, the pillars of creation (not easy). the Trifid.

M108 also mention, that you could make out the bright nucleus and two areas on opposite sides.

The rise of the Moon has put an end to this output on the whole not very lucky. SQM LO has started to decline: 21:47, 21.30 ... We observed up to 21.1.

How To Write On Birthday Invitation Beer Provided

Saturn in 60 cm

I mounted the 60 cm. Unfortunately the battery was a bit 'low and so the fan was a bit' plan. Each I watched as the situation in intrafocale boundary layer and saw that the "web" was fading, but has never been perfect.
However at first glance with the ethos ... wow! I saw
Tethys run parallel to the rings. As it cooled the mirror I was able to increase magnification. Now I'm on the 400x. There are some times when the planet but then fades back together with flashes of perfection. I also tried 600x. Not that govern them, but rather be a bit 'lower.
If only the "spider web" to go away ... I see no problems
Mimas. Titan is "yellow" in comparison to the planet. The color contrast is obvious and has never been so alive in the 40 cm. The planet has an equatorial band on which is superimposed on the yellow ring that forms a very dark trickle. Going to the South Pole is a band on the orange hue and then the pole toward the blue. Instead of going to the North Pole is a large blue cape (from about 20 ° latitude). Are perceived irregularities in the bands and hoods. Obviously you can see the sky in the bends and
planet. I have not seen (yet?) Thetys's shadow, although it is now clear that Tethys is over the record. I'm stressed out
telescope eyepieces: I see halos color when the planet is off center. Surprisingly, the Ethos is better! ... The combination barlow + Pentax 21 is immune from chromaticism, metro Pentax or Nagler have only lateral chromatic! We wanted the light of a 60 cm to show it.
I tried the neutral density filter to 12.5%. In fact eliminates the little puffs of light from time to time so that the light makes it visible. The planet is so "marble" (to use a famous expression). By contrast pofff ... the colors gone.
It is understood that the marble effect is dependent on low light.
Since I was there I spotted some famous double. Algeiba ... are two different yellow! I had never noticed this difference in color. Not that we'd never paid too much attention, but I can tell you generically both yellow. "
With light, however, comes the color saturation e. .. in fact, are two yellow different.
Cor Caroli ... I do not remember already more ... it was a white and blue if I remember correctly.

Polyps In The Bladder

Wandering galaxies over 21.70

The title says almost everything. The darkness was excellent yesterday in Val Visdende, perhaps more than 21.70 (4 SQM readings ranged between 21.66 and 21.76 to 21.60 with some reading but also some more than 21.80. Some small trace of light pollution was visible in the South A middle way between the two situations described in that article (on the plain was very dark).
In the winter Milky Way could capture different degrees of intensity that made her seem a stretch when you consider the very large offshoots. The band Zodiac / Leo was in Gegenshein evident as a light to the rest of the sky above and below, then south to the horizon the glow of light pollution would intervene in the Po to 100 km!). Initially, a few passing clouds probably was dimly lit by the lights of Santo Stefano di Cadore and Sapphire, the two most important towns in the vicinity (of sight). It 's hard to say how much light pollution (21.70 is still two-tenths from perfect) coming from the plains to 100 km and that from these two centers.

The initial temperature was quite mild, around a few degrees below zero and this was maintained for most of the night. But to the early hours of the morning fell quite rapidly to -11 ° C. The road is clear in the part that leads to the valley, with bends and stretches of a certain slope. In the valley and icy roads were partially innervated, but fortunately the roads in the valley are almost flat. The seeing was not great. Towards the middle of the night observing Saturn and blurring in extrafocale was possible to see the effect of cascade sign of turbulent layers at high altitude. But say I do not know if they were high layer or the area of wind recirculation that forms when the wind comes off the ridges of mountains (the seeing was good perhaps elsewhere). To make matters worse there was also cold, and the resulting convection currents on the optics. I noticed that the 60 cm, even if it adopts the same system of extraction of the boundary layer of 40 cm, it is slower and more gradual improvement in the quality of the image (I think that can be used perhaps two or three hours to reach the ideal situation).

Lost in a valley with no signs of life (not passed no one and there was a house that seemed inhabited), with the reassuring shape of Peralba to the east and the last larch and spruce that stood out as black silhouettes against the sky northward, the participants in the mini star party were placed near a tavern where there was a bit 'of unobstructed area from the snow.
The fearless are the order of the diameter of the telescope
winner: I myself with the leviathan from 60 cm.

Ho esordito con un'occhiata alla Testa di Cavallo, visibile con filtro H-Beta a 142x, as a large bend in the edge of the borders nebuolsa not very accurate. You could not see the shape of the head but do not despair because I was looking in one direction a little 'polluted and height less than ideal.

The thing that left a mark at all is the way in which galaxies are seen. Almost all show details, spirals, stripes, etc..
M51 is literally "stratospheric." Observed from about 100x (with the eye 30 mm) to about 300x (with a Pentax 10.5). Too bad for seeing the vision otherwise would probably have been better than a 300x. The spirals are visible without any effort. Are not vanishing: indeed showed several reinforcements. You could sense offshoots of the halo in different directions, Follow the bridge between the two and see the break.

not mention all the observed objects. Only a few more thing to point out that you can see in the sky at 60 cm from a two tenths from perfect.

Leo I. The dwarf galaxy Leo. It 'an object of low surface brightness difficult to view because near Regulus. Regulus by putting off the brightness of the galaxy was evident, especially by moving the telescope. Once identified remained visible even when regulation entered in the field of view.

NGC 4631 (Whale). was seen as very bright. One can distinguish (unlike that in the 40 cm) several condensations in the galaxy main the companion and the enlargement of the head of the whale. The two interacting galaxies in the vicinity were as rich in detail.

M61 appeared to be resolved as a beautiful spiral. A small M101. And M101 is another object that has attracted the attention of all: The spirals could be seen throughout their course, with several condensations of stars and the deformed portion that extends from one side. We also saw dioverse field galaxies nearby.

the end product also M13. Apart from the clear difference in brightness and number of stars, this time the small galaxy IC 4167 was obvious, even as a template, while the NGC 6207 also show internal structure.

Notes Marco

The first thing to say is that I still find it very difficult to pick up the tall objects. The scale is not an issue to watch, but the point is, why do I have to look in the finder often lean too dangerous positions. However, the objects I've seen, in all instruments, were many: counting all individual galassiette are seventy. This is because many small galaxies are close to other noble and so are free. Points particularly to the Galaxy "lumps" at the Windmill NGC 5477, NGC 4488 and the bar near the M49.
The Sombrero was spectacular and seemed to me as I'd like seen in Namibia, but obviously the quality of the air and 10 cm difference (remember that there had to hire a 50 cm) were compensated a bit '. It also tells the little-known hydro NGC 3109, which is the most peripheral of the local group galaxy. It 's a long uneven brightness from very low, but large in size (20'). The chain
Markarian I spotted both with 40 cm with 60, even if in a hurry. Add
also a curiosity for the first time I used a planet as a starting point for the star-hopping, that I used as reference to find the Saturn beautiful M61. This is also a galaxy unjustly neglected, perhaps because it is a few degrees off from the 'crowded' main di Chioma-Vergine, ma è sicuramente più meritevole di molte delle singole componenti dell'ammasso.

What Do Puppy Cataracts Look Like?

Galaxies!

Via Lattea invernale visibile imaginatively.
mates were out Mars4ever, Mk67, AndreaF, Maxbjo and a friend of whom I do not know nik. Third
light for the 24 ". There were also two SkyWatcher 12" in a autotracking.

I used a new version of the fan, I have suspended elastically to prevent vibration. Perhaps dovendola no longer maintain contact with the bottom of the telescope has lost efficiency, breathing air that does not come even from within the mirror box. The fact remains that arrived there (starting at about 15 degrees at home) optics gave us a lot 'to work fairly soon. At first, the stars were balls, and also just inguadrabili 100x to 285x. The view has improved gradually but not è mai stata perfetta.

La compagna showed memory structure including the black wedge that is inserted in the galaxy alongside the alleged bridge of matter. It would have been to do a drawing (which would have required but mezz'roa driving force in stages would not allow it). Always very nice

M96, M95 and M105. Typically, magnifications used were 213 (Pentax 14) and less often 142 (Pentax 21) and 93 (ocularone China by 32 mm). We also tried a 35 mm eyepiece of Andrea, with whom I'm definitely over the pupil, but has made a good overall picture of, M81 and M82.
The site is polluted enough that I have found it convenient to use a filter to broadband (a IDAS LPS).

Other items noted were several open clusters (Showing colored stars), NGC2440 is a planetary Vattelapesca, M3 (which has not been able to "explode" as the obsession with publicity, probably because of the difficulty to go with the magnification), and finally the Intergalacti Wanderer. The globular appeared to limit the possibility of resolution into stars (and we had the impression that probably seeing a better solution could be found).

Victoria Sevret Small Breast Bra

Finally a decent evening. Nothing fancy (in theory was provided but there has graced Jet Stream). So here I am telling the true result of the second test of the Leviathan (the first high-resolution).

18 SQM. At times cloudy skies and fog that has intensified after midnight. The fog had certainly the effect of reducing contrast and definition (at one point saw muffled even the roof of my house).
station in the back of the house in the country.

The telescope continues to be ade a bit 'hard movements. I plan to spend the teflon spray on the motion to adjust the height and azimuth movements. For the second aspect has to be said that the telescope has a central pin and the three classic shoes teflon. However, the center also has a bearing that supports the weight of the telescope by downloading some of the weight and friction on skates. By adjusting the position of the center pad can adjust the load on shoes to adjust the hardness in azimuth.

moved to the field test. It was me, Maxbjo and Mars4ever. In addition to the leviathan of 60 cm was the GSO 8 "and Geoptik 19" in EQ6 Mark (with a lot of photography equipment in high resolution). Before dinner

Mars was a orange blob. But after dinner, you may stop the fans because the mirror was "decently" in temperature, the image of Mars was beginning to clarify.
In short, the Leviathan has exceeded in quantity and quality (more and better) the view from the GSO 8 ". The baby was struggling to be used at 320x. This figure is for comparison with other nights where the baby comes almost regularly 400x and January 23 480x.
The enlargements were used in the leviathan of 420x and 600x. Although the seeing is not a good telescope with this diameter (and with the optical quality of which I will) has no problems. The effect of seeing is to see the image as if through a soft filter, but you can look, while at other telescopes that are closer to their theoretical limit, due to the seeing the need to get with the magnification.
Among the details that I have seen mention clouds at sunset and that which at first I mistook for a small polar cap at the pole opposite to that of the big shell. Then Mark told me that it was cloudy there too.
Knowing that there was something in the opposite pole I have found in 8. "Mars was only 12" at 600x, but had a large planet that crossed the field of view.
I saw Solis Lacus as the usual series segnetto she "there is no" but just as a wink. Mark just put the eye to the telescope has also seen the Valley Mrineris (which I've also found later). With
Maxbjo has digressed to the Eskimo, which has a cielop between 18 to 333x and 600x magnification showing the two shells and the central. Try the OIII and UHC filters.
We also passed by M35, with 21 mm eyepiece to 142x (which is the minimum magnification that I can do for the moment): The storage occupied the entire eye field and the stars at 142x were colored pinheads. More
Later that night I had the opportunity to experience pinpoint stars up to 333x, 420x and 600x to even the faintest stars tended to flash depending on the seeing (which I repeat was not exceptional).
Back to 142x on Mars the planet was stuck in the sky. Some would say or carved marble. But 142x is a bit 'just to see everything there is to see. Also pulling his eyes, although we saw that there were structures on the planet, it took no great effort of imagination to understand that they form, the form that is revealed along with a multitude of other details by going to 420 and 660x.

Max is gone and Mark in the meantime had begun to take pictures. I could compare the view in the 10 " with the view in the 60 cm and, of course, and how physics provides, there was a real gulf of difference. Neither more nor less than they should be. And of course, looking good, was not even true that the image in 60 cm was more ballerina. Indeed it was almost the opposite (also this thing actually exactly predicted by the theory).
In the meantime, had come to view the area of volcanoes. The face of "boring" of Mars, but in 60 cm so it was not boring at all. You could see several spots of different color. I tried unsuccessfully Olympus Mons I saw several lighter areas. IUL detail was such that we had difficulty drawing it.
We got to observe the color filters.

two o'clock I had a look of Notre fleeting Saturn. Net and "marble" but uninspiring saw cutting. You could see some bands on the globe, but perhaps also because the cutting, lacked the variety of colors that I remember (especially the brown at the poles).

IL COMITATO IMMIGRATI IN ITALIA
Chi Siamo

Diversi ma insieme
Info

We think that, at least at this moment, the form of joint work of the network is the best suited to our situation. Makes it possible to bring together and act together to reality very different from each (participating in the committee: associations with ethnic, national or continental uniform, mixed groups, anti-racist associations of immigrants and Italians, organizations working on specific issues, others general purpose, single or clusters, the reality of different political orientation, etc..) that has been lacking a joint initiative on space scale Italian.

The Committee Immigrants Italy is characterized in that:

· We relate through a network of communication, collaboration, joint initiatives and mutual support between different local realities that share some common principles, objectives and methods, highlighted below.

• Who joined the Committee Immigrants in Italy is free to join other networks or co-ordination at local, national or international level and at the same time is committed to the extension of our network and development of its activities.

· In cities and regions where there are more reality-committee Immigrants in Italy carry these forms of coordination and joint work at local deemed appropriate to their situation in a spirit of cooperation and solidarity.

Party member:
Migrant Coordination of Caserta, Coordination racist Cesar K (Verona); group of migrants move to fight for the house (Florence), Assoc. Intercultural Todo Cambia (Milan); Association of Multiethnic 2001 (Milan); Social Forum Correggio Immigrants in motion (Napoli); Community Burkina Faso ARBI (Napoli), JVP (Roma); Association Latinoamericana El Condor (Roma); Indian Community; Dhuumcatu (Roma); Senegalese Association (Rome); UAWA (Roma), Communities of Moldova (Roma) Sutka (Roma), Illyria (Roma); Association Filippini (Rome), Associations Forum immigrants (Brescia), Coordination immigrants CGIL (Brescia), Latin American Association of Cremona.

OUR PRINCIPLES

UNIT
We are immigrants from countries at war or severe economic crisis, or where tyrants have set up a kingdom at will, or arrived in Italy for other reasons .
We are all exploited workers twice as many rights of us work 12-14 hours without a day seven days a week. These
our affinity immigrants - exploited - without rights creates strong bonds and links, and drive us to fight together to defend our rights.

SOLIDARITY
suffering, lack, hunger, diseases are seen friends. We, who often lack the caress of the parents, grandfather of the kiss, the embrace of his brother and the hand of friend, we are learning the true meaning of solidarity, the real one, not the charity and hypocrisy. We must learn more and teach reach out to all those who suffer the injustices of power and lack of rights, and those who struggle to gain the best for everyone. Members of the Committee
Immigrants in Italy agree that they have in common the principles of equality of all human beings and solidarity among those affected by all forms of exploitation and oppression. We support the active opposition to any kind of racism and discrimination. We know that besides these evils affect immigrants also affect the Italian workers and are also expressed within the immigrant population. We want them to fight in any case.
addition to these general principles and common objectives, we are bound together by a desire to support each other.
Our committee is pluralistic, not only brings together people and reality with characteristics and political views, different religious and philosophical convictions, but consider this diversity a strength and the relations between us based on free discussion and mutual respect. A basic principle
our actions must be solidarity among the various ethnic groups in order to break the isolation of communities (and intolerance that sometimes exists between citizens / immigrants and s), creating a close network of human bonds that can respond actively and quickly to the daily attacks against him or her immigrant / and how the expulsions, the searches, police controls, field camps (CPT) and all the racist laws of European states.

AUTONOMY
the self-organization, or rather, the creation of the basis for the prominence of direct / lle immigrants / and struggles, in the vindication of rights of citizenship is an essential and strategic step for our committee.

PURPOSE 'OF THE IMMIGRANTS IN ITALY

The main purpose of this networking are:

- Far recognize and value our own identity and capacity for initiative, as immigrants / and committed to unite and communicate more actively and regularly serves above all to ourselves. The current laws and racist attitudes do not consider us not as people but as arms work, and without rights and without dignity, the official policy and the media talk about us as a "phenomenon" or "problem", and sometimes even anti-racist people are likely to think of us immigrants as "objects" to be given assistance, which offer solidarity, not to individuals to work as equals. This also affects the mentality of many of us and we must reverse this situation. The commitment and the experience we have accumulated shows that we can do it.

- Pooling our experiences, results and difficulties we encounter. To organize and fight in all reality we have made so many efforts, sometimes we made mistakes, but we also invented new ways to pair and make our voices heard. We can learn from different experiences, advise each other, provide information, skills and knowledge that we have, share materials and tools useful to all activities. Above all, we can compare the situations in which immigrants live in different regions of Italy, considering the common features and different ones, to define the best way to gain the respect of our rights and our dignity. We can do it with sensitivity and understanding of particular problems because we are immigrants / and we lived in hiding, we live on our skin discrimination, racism, injustice.

- Encouraging greater involvement and active participation / of citizens / immigrants and s: it is primarily to help overcome fear, individualism and resignation, sometimes the belief that here we are "guests" without the right to demand anything, we need to do detailed work to make it clear to immigrants that the demonstrations are aimed not only to obtain a residence permit, but that is just and can fight to improve all aspects of our life here (from working conditions to the right to live in decent homes), we must show specifically how to unite and organize.

- Promote self-organization, the freedom of association to the practical implementation of the protagonist / the citizens / immigrants and s For self-organization we mean the ability to define itself, to act and commit themselves without giving up one of our defense needs.

- Ideare, proporre e realizzare attività comuni, campagne e mobilitazioni: è molto importante, through the network we are building, always able to have the strongest joint in the whole country, made locally but coordinated on a national scale. This may give more strength to our demands, increase the confidence and courage of the people involved, to grow the movement of immigrants. We want to keep these - thanks to the direct daily contact that we have - the expectations, fears and needs of / for citizens / immigrants and / e and try to devise activities and initiatives more responsive to these needs. We must work to ensure that immigrant associations / and acquire even more power and authority to the institutions and the state. In this sense, our commitment goes in the direction of building, with tenacity and without improvisation, a national co-ordination that is capable of fighting to improve the conditions of our stay in Italy.

- to contribute more strongly to the development of the movement against racism, for the affirmation of the rights and dignity, the freedom of all s In Italy, over the past decade, with the growth of immigration, has developed a comprehensive anti-racist movement that at times it managed to hear his own voice with great power, but still was not enough to counter the increasingly racist laws issued by the Italian parliament and the spread of xenophobic attitudes, discriminatory us and hostile society. Henceforth, self-organization of immigrants, it is important to strengthen the anti-racist movement between him / her Italian citizens, because to change things, you must change the mentality of the majority.

OBJECTIVES The objectives that we set ourselves, the concrete demands for which we stand, covering all aspects - specific and general - living conditions, rights, dignity and freedom / of citizens / immigrants and / and Italy and the world have already been, in large measure to the center of our mobilization and will be shown in a separate comprehensive platform, which will be presented separately.

FUNZIONAMENTO

Il Comitato Immigrati in Italia ha un funzionamento pluralista: non ha un portavoce unico o dei permanent national representatives, but is expressed through words and actions of individuals and organized bodies belonging to the Committee acting locally. A national or regional level, the realities that are part of the Committee may choose freely the form of organization of joint work and the possible expression of local spokesman. The important thing is that actions taken locally on behalf of the Committee are consistent with the principles, aims and methods described in this document.
instruments are mainly the work of the Committee meetings of district, village, city, national and European level. The committee meetings are reserved for the participation of immigrants and / e. It is important we do know from all the communities, associations and organizations of immigrants / and through a manifesto published in all languages, we will prepare and discuss together in the town meetings and national.
From time to time, when it evaluates the usefulness or necessity, the national meeting of the Committee may designate one or more persons to represent it on this specific occasion, in an initiative or for a particular task. The Committee
immigrants in Italy has a constructive approach, in every sense: it seeks to address the difficulties, differences and misunderstandings to go forward, to grow people too, not to divide or to enforce the rule someone on others, he lives in the continuing development of the network that we began to build and the more general movement in which we participate, it helps build self-organized bodies in all the cities, trying to provide as much support as possible while respecting the complete autonomy of decision .
The main aspect of the life of the committee is the network of communication between the various cities that are building and we want more and more strengthened. For this reason it is a national working group composed of one or two people (as in the case of Rome and Brescia, where he joined many associations) for each city. This working group was primarily responsible for ensuring full communication between all the cities, prepare the national meetings, to achieve virtually the proposed decisions in national meetings and hired locally. When it sees this working group may meet to organize its activities, but above all it must function as a daily link between the various cities. Finally, one of the tasks of the working group is to facilitate the first contact with new realities in the cities where we are already present and those where we have not yet, that should help to enlarge our network

DIFFERENT BUT TOGETHER

to come together "between us" immigrants do not think it means to act separately from the anti-racist movement and solidarity which are engaged / and many s Italian / e. This is not to build something as an alternative to networks and experiences to which many already share (by social forum for trade unions, movements or associations "mixed"), but to do something more.
We are interested and willing to work and collaborate with all those who are struggling for goals the same, similar or converging with ours; to work do not claim that our choices are always shared or understood, the only thing we demand is respect.
Some Italian activists - that, we said recently, are the most beautiful part of that society that has welcomed, respected, and fought with us, which supported our rights, our demands for justice, freedom, of work and dignity - are still struggling to understand our need to have a meeting space, communication and self-initiative. We invite you to reflect. Think to some historical experiences took place in the world: the liberation struggles of African Americans in the U.S. or South African blacks needed to build its own identity (because he was denied by the system of white), their own autonomous organizations, to combat segregation and apartheid. So it is still for the indigenous peoples of Central and South America, fighting to defend their right to existence and dignity.

Mac Liquid Mineral Moisturizing Foundation

Second Light First Light of the Leviathan Giau.

After several months of waiting yesterday there was the first light of 60 cm. This is a Dobsonian similar to the bottom of this page (but with significant changes to which I shall return).
In the afternoon I went to Colle Saint Lucia primarily to adjust the length of the tubes. The photo shows the primary Romano Zen, 60 cm, and Marco controls in that there is an authentic signature.

Unlike most amateurs, that whenever they have a new tool generate rain and hurricanes, to me it always happens that the first night will be good to make the first light. Until two days ago nobody would have bet a cent on Saturday that he would have used a telescope. But ... Later

better describe the instrument. For the moment only two words on the optics. The large mirror is like a car engine: it is certainly working well (which is of good optical quality), but it is also powerful. The quality of optics alone is not enough unless you also have the power. And this is the motivation that behind the leviathan.

how powerful is the engine of this telescope? ... well ... follow me in this brief report.

From Saint Lucia Hill, the evening was clear that looming, we went to Giau. A chance to revisit a place I'd seen in 2007.
The temperature at night fell to minus 17 ° C. +5 ° to Hill that there were nearly 20 ° C to jump. I have not been able to install fans and I used the leviathan in natural cooling. The open cell design allows the obsession though not with the same results of the extraction of the boundary layer.
We settled on the pitch. Unfortunately there are many restaurants and hotels along the pass that keep headlights turned on (contrary to the law now regional). But the worst was looking out towards Cortina. Not only the city produces a remarkable light pollution: there were those who seemed to me the illuminated ski day (and night until one of these were). The SQM
started from a poor 20.95 to 20, rose slightly to 21.10 to about midnight and went a bit 'more at one o'clock at night 21:25 to 21:35.
Milky Way washed and certainly nothing to do with the Three Peaks or Val or Visdende Peralba. Between 21.1-21.3 and 21.5-21.7 is "an abyss".

But the "abyss" that we are interested in others as it makes an engine of this power? It 's true The diameter is optional and that the optical quality is more important?
Not that I did not know the answer, but it took was a look at some classical pieces, including Mars, to get a clearer answer (and obvious) you can not.

After a while 'traffic to mount (for the first time) and the leviathan to align the finder, the first object has been framed ... M42! 32 mm eyepiece (which are 93x). On a fire of 2985 mm F / 5 stars behave well at the edge of the field (unlike most open optical and shorter focal length) eyepiece even medium-end we were using. Stars that seemed "fine powder" (impression then systematically obtained on all open clusters observed in which the color of the stars stood out above all more pronounced than I had before in 40 cm). You could see tiny stars in the nebula. Moving on to 21 mm (142x) the E and F of the Trapezium were there: the seeing was not very evident despite some of the best and even thermal adaptation. Not only that there were much weaker than other stars in the nebula.
One interesting thing is that the effect of "color" (green / pink) was less obvious than in the 40 cm. Because I think the bigger picture (the same exit pupil) reduces misinterpretation of the visual system (a little 'what happens when you put off the central area of the nebula and we observe only the wings and they seem no longer pink). I noted in particular the filament marked with the letter "A" in this article and I compared with the main part of the wing next to it (much brighter). Same color (gray) in spite of the filament is rich in H-alpha and OIII wing is much richer.
Another item noted was the group of nebulae of M78. 4 nebula visible areas and the dark cloud that separates them (the telescopes, incidentally, shows a very high contrast and I think that depends on whether the surface is very smooth, both generous diameter: both have an effect on the final MTF ).
Observed clusters in the area of M46, M47, NGC2423 and 2414. The advantage of the "powerful engine" here is manifested in the colors of the stars. M46 then was "touching," with its planetary nebula in which pushing a little magnification (213x) internal emerging stars.
I then wanted to see M1. At 142x it was possible to see many stars in the nebula (many more than those I mentioned in a past article, and observed with a 40 cm). But the surprising thing was up to 213x and insert a nebular filter: the nebula has revealed a "swarm" of lights that were evidently filaments.
NGC2158, close to M35 is "resolved" in stars, where the word "solved" has a meaning that is not easy to explain. The helmet is
Thor was another question, already observed in the past (report available on the blog) and I wanted to see again. The filter and the magnification of 213x (at the exit pupil of 3 mm) revealed an intricate web of micro filaments were not visible in the previous 40 cm. And we
high resolution. It 'a field in which often happen to read "opinions" that the diameter of the telescope does not count (no more than 15-20 cm). Would count only the highest quality. We observed Mars at 420x, despite seeing the mountain, the temperature of minus 17 ° C, the temperature difference of 20 ° C, less than optimal acclimatization. Mars was "recorded". He obviously noticed the disturbance of the atmosphere and the heat but it was evidente che il grande motore stava ancora andando al minimo, tanto erano netti i bordi nei momenti nemmeno troppo infrequenti in cui l'aria si calmava.

Addendum. Comments of Mark.

See "born" on a giant piece at a time in the afternoon was a particular emotion, and already the first work to be finalized at least made us realize that the jump from the point of view of operational and logistical complexity compared to 40 cm is significant.
the evening we took a long time to mount the tubes and we found it difficult to align and collimate the finder, but it was assumed that the first shot could not go smoothly right away. So we were able to observe a few objects, not only for the initial loss of time but also because we had become familiar with the finder again with a 90 ° prism can be difficult to succeed to frame the star of departure (you first need to orient the telescope by moving the good from the ground, and only after climbing a ladder and start to use the finder, and to facilitate the first thing I suggested to adopt a red-dot) and also I noticed that depending on the height at which you look you need to adjust the rotation of the prism finder, and this causes the rotation of the field, with obvious opportunities to struggle to recognize it unless you know with that first corner is turned. But with a little 'habit of the "human goto" will soon return to full speed. Then
serve other small improvements as a softening of the mechanical movements and a correct balance.
Turning to seen objects, add comments to those not mentioned by Mauro. The Flame nebula with 21 or 14 mm occupied the entire field and it's nice to see it with Alnitak out of the box. While because of imperfect sky we dropped the Horsehead.
Thor's helmet and the M78 group were certainly the best ever seen. M78 appeared larger than usual and you could see even weaker than the southern part extends beyond the star GSC 1108 116, while the weaker components of NGC 2067 and 2064, located in the main W, if the first (when you could see, of course !) appeared as separate nebulae, now all three have become a single object with the black clouds above (as in reality).
Staying within the nebulae, We also spotted the Christmas tree to try to see the cone, but then came the first problem of fogging of the eyepieces so I declined to see both you and the nearby NGC 2261. A chapter
they deserve it too open clusters, perhaps too often snubbed but now with this opening for me are to be reassessed because the stars become wonderfully bright and colorful. In addition to those already listed by Mauro, we also saw M41 and M50 and I liked a lot. For the Pleiades 100 magnification instead start to become many, but still the ubiquitous reflection nebulae are always beautiful.
confirm that M51 was probably not the best with the best view of 40 cm, but we also cielo da 21,2 e il secondario brinato, quindi non oso immaginare come sarà nelle condizioni ottimali!
Il mio problema principale è stato la difficoltà di inseguire, anche perché oltre i 60° il movimento in azimut è molto difficoltoso (e in meridiano è quello l'asse to move more to follow) and are also used in pursuit of motorized telescope.
Finally, we have had confirmation of a prediction almost obvious: if the 32 mm eyepiece telescopes with small to medium is not used nearly ever, this is almost always used because the minimum magnification of 100X, with a maximum range equivalent visible of 45-50 ', begins to be a major constraint.
Conclusion: while we have saved for a corner this new moon after losing two in a row, then this first taste of the beast has increased even more appetite and curiosity. We hope that next time it is fully operational because we have many galaxies to see.
