L'uscita di ieri sera è stata un po' di fortuna. Gli impegni della mattina successiva non permettevano di restare fuori tutta la notte, e d'altra parte la Luna sarebbe sorta poco dopo mezzanotte. Così è stata scelta la destinazione del rifugio Carota.
Un po' freddino (meno 5) e cielo sottotono anche per quel luogo: intorno a 20.9 allo zenit (21.05 verso Nord Est ma 20.6 verso la pianura a Sud). Via Lattea invernale visibile imaginatively.

I used a new version of the fan, I have suspended elastically to prevent vibration. Nei due Skywatcher le stelle erano puntiformi, ma è anche vero che usavano tipicamente ingrandimenti più bassi.
Abbiamo osservato circa una ventina di oggetti. In un cielo che non sarebbe stato da galassie le galasssie l'hanno fatta da padrone. Ne menziono solo alcune, lasciando la lista completa al contributo di Mars4ever.
NGC2903 nel Leone, osservata prima in 30 cm e poi nel 60 cm. La differenza era "abissale" :-)... oddio... non si capisce vero? E allora ecco una spiegazione più chiara. Nel 30 cm la galassia appariva come una macchia ellittica su cui si potevano intuire delle irregolarità (le spirali e il nucleo). Nel 60 cm le spirali erano là ben visibili, si vedeva anche l'alone e si percepivano dei nodi di stelle in entrambe le estremità della barra.
M81 nel 30 cm era la solita visione sfumata di quando il cielo non consente di vedere le spirali. Nel 60 cm le spirali si vedevano e si vedeva l'alone più esterno. M82 era quasi molto intensa e dettagliata.
M51 aveva le spirali evanescenti nei 30 cm, che si sono trasformate in bellissime spirali nelle quali si potevano notare diversi ingrossamenti avvolte nell'alone della galassia. La compagna showed memory structure including the black wedge that is inserted in the galaxy alongside the alleged bridge of matter. It would have been to do a drawing (which would have required but mezz'roa driving force in stages would not allow it). Always very nice
M96, M95 and M105. Typically, magnifications used were 213 (Pentax 14) and less often 142 (Pentax 21) and 93 (ocularone China by 32 mm). We also tried a 35 mm eyepiece of Andrea, with whom I'm definitely over the pupil, but has made a good overall picture of, M81 and M82.
The site is polluted enough that I have found it convenient to use a filter to broadband (a IDAS LPS).
Other items noted were several open clusters (Showing colored stars), NGC2440 is a planetary Vattelapesca, M3 (which has not been able to "explode" as the obsession with publicity, probably because of the difficulty to go with the magnification), and finally the Intergalacti Wanderer. The globular appeared to limit the possibility of resolution into stars (and we had the impression that probably seeing a better solution could be found).
